Embedded sound middleware "CRI D-Amp Driver"
Achieving audio output with just a microcontroller and H-bridge circuit: A high-quality, high-efficiency audio solution without an audio IC.
【Simple and Low-Cost Audio Playback】 By performing audio processing through software, hardware (audio processing logic, DAC, etc.) becomes unnecessary, significantly reducing component costs. 【High Sound Quality and Low Noise】 Since analog circuits are not required, a flat frequency response audio output can be achieved. The use of a differential drive method eliminates noise present in the speaker input, resulting in higher resistance to noise. 【High Efficiency and Low Power Consumption】 With over 90% efficiency and minimal heat loss, it can produce loud volumes with low power. Additionally, during silence, the PWM output is eliminated, resulting in zero power consumption for the speaker. 【Reduced Implementation Costs】 The external circuit connected to the microcontroller only requires an H-bridge circuit, leading to lower component costs and reduced procurement risks. Furthermore, using the "CRI D-Amp Driver" compatible IC (Nisshinbo Micro Devices NA1150), a smaller implementation area is required. The software implemented in the microcontroller is compact and has a light processing load, making it easier to embed even in environments with performance limitations.
